Last night synod continued with greetings from several overseas churches. Because of the pandemic, only one foreign delegate could be present: Rev. P. Archbald from the Reformed Churches of New Zealand. The others presented their greetings either by letter or by pre-recorded video messages. Afterwards we had some rounds of discussion on the appeals of various churches against articles 77-78 of Synod Bunbury. This morning we had several rounds of discussion on the proposal regarding theological training in Australia. We then broke for committee work for the remainder of the morning. More rounds of discussion appear to be on tap for this afternoon, then more ecumenical greetings in our evening session. So far no major decisions for today.
