The First Commentary on the Belgic Confession

I’ve been anxiously waiting and looking for this.  Foederatum Belgium Orthodoxum was written by Samuel Maresius as a commentary on the Belgic Confession.  The edition now available at Google Books was published in 1652 in Groningen.  This is the first known commentary on the Belgic Confession.  It features extensive exposition of each of the 37 articles.  Unfortunately, it’s in Latin and so will not be widely accessible.  Time permitting, I hope over the next few weeks to begin exploring what Maresius has to say on some points of doctrine.  Stay tuned…
