Richard Muller: Was Calvin a Calvinist?

Links to this essay by Richard Muller are making the rounds everywhere in the blogosphere. If you haven’t had a look yet, let me be one more voice urging you on.  If you’ve been reading Muller’s works, I’m not sure the essay really presents anything new or startling.  Nevertheless, it’s an enjoyable read and a good reminder that: 1) our theologians are not easy to put into neat little boxes, and 2) Calvin is not the ultimate measure of all things Reformed.
