New Resource for Reformed Pastors

22 October 2009 by Wes Bredenhof

On the Ref-net today, someone was asking about a list of psalms to go with Lord’s Days from the Heidelberg Catechism.  Such lists have long been published in Dutch church books.  I’ve just uploaded the list (“register”) from the 2002 Gereformeerd Kerkboek.  You can find it by following the link, “Liturgical Helps”  on the right side of the page.  And no, you don’t need to read Dutch to be able to use this resource.  As long as you know that Zondag = Lord’s Day, you’re good to go.

Good morning Wes, Even though I am following your directions carefully I am unable to find the link “Liturgical Helps”. All I would like to find is the list of Psalms you have been referring to.
I am a member of the Kelmscott Free Reformed Church of Western Australia. I wanted to pass this list onto my son in law Rev. S. ‘t Hart who has recently returned from Papua New Guinea and is presently the pastor of the newly instituted congregation of Baldivis.
Your help will be very much appreciated.
Kind regards and God’s blessings in your ministry.
    Leo
