Declare His Glory
I’m in Western Australia at the moment and this morning I had the opportunity to attend the book launch for Harry Kleyn’s Declare His Glory: A History Mission Among Indigenous Australians (…). I was honoured to preview the book some months ago and I wrote this endorsement:
Harry Kleyn has given us a well-researched overview of the history of Christian mission to First Australians and, in particular, the first detailed account of the early efforts of the Free Reformed Churches of Australia. He writes from the heart, with a compassion that persuades readers to seriously consider the task which remains. This engaging book has profound lessons to offer for mission boards, missionaries, and anyone who cares about the spread of the gospel anywhere.
