This past week, I shared the following links on social media and I think they’re worth sharing here too:
I’ve learned a lot from Tim Challies about blogging. I especially appreciate what he says about promoting other writers. I try to do that here and on social media. If you’re going to blog etc., use your platform to encourage and help other writers too. It’s not all about you!
Just learned about this resource the other day — from someone in the Christian Reformed Church in Canberra, of all places (I say that just because the resource is clearly Canadian)! Helpful for kids (and adults) who learn easier with a song.
We have descended into utter madness. No further comment needed.
This is rather concerning. Australians can fill out a survey from the ALRC here.
Technology doesn’t really solve every problem. I should say “new technology,” because a printed pew Bible is still a matter of technology, though much older in origin.
GCC is the church John MacArthur pastors in Sun Valley, California. It’s a sad story. Unfortunately it’s happened in Reformed churches too. We’ve got to do better. Since the story appeared, GCC has released this statement. Readers may judge for themselves whether this finishes the matter.
FROM THE VAULT
I still can hardly believe that really happened.
