Post-Reformation Jackpot
We owe the Post-Ref junkies at Calvin Seminary a huge debt of gratitude for their new Post-Reformation Digital Library. There are links to tons of good stuff and oodles of free .pdf downloads. You want Maccovius’ Loci Communes Theologici? They have the link. Looking for a copy of Tremellius’ Latin translation of the Bible? It’s there too. There goes my whole evening! I love it!
On a more serious note, there is good reason to believe that this glut of Post-Reformation resources is going to bear fruit in a whole new generation of excellent historical theological research. We’ve barely scratched the surface of what the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries have to offer.
