This past week, I shared the following links on social media and I think they’re worth sharing here too:
“…Peter Wilby, former editor of the Independent on Sunday and The New Statesman has been convicted of possessing images of children being raped, the reporting of this has been somewhat muted. Wilby was also a Guardian columnist and used his position as an education ‘expert’ to denigrate and cast suspicion on those who dared to bring up accusations of child sexual abuse.”
It’s 2023 and the world still holds so many mysteries. Humbling (we don’t know everything) and exciting (so much to learn).
Tim Challies: Some time ago I read an advice column that responded to a woman who had become disillusioned with her husband and enamored with someone else. And as I read it I thought to myself, “I’m pretty sure that’s exactly how Satan would counsel if he was asked.” That got me thinking about how Satan might function as a marriage counselor and also how he might function as a parenting expert. To that end…
Michael Brown on the importance of mentorship.
It is getting better, but it still doesn’t know how to write a good sermon.
