This past week, I shared the following links on social media and I think they’re worth sharing here too:

Postmillennialism, Reconstructionism, Migration, and the Pacific Northwest

Shane Lems reviews what sounds like an interesting and worthwhile book exploring a movement that continues to make waves, especially through the influence of Doug Wilson. Lems concludes, “Although I was wary of the reconstructionism in Moscow and the rest of the PNW before reading this book, now I’m even warier. This book raises so many red flags concerning these religious reconstructionist movements. Mass migration to follow a religious leader and his controversial ways is not something laudable or commendable!”

Why “Ethical” Porn is a Myth

Like almost everything NCOSE puts out, this one is good — as far as it goes. The biggest reason why “ethical” porn is a myth isn’t covered — because by God’s standards porn will always be unethical. If you’re consuming porn and you’re rationalizing it with this idea of “ethical porn,” get your head out of your backside.

This book has been enormously popular, but unfortunately it’s beset by some serious problems.
